Our Race Gravity Hiking Shorts are designed and engineered to improve posture and support key muscle groups all while offering impact protection. Skin-tight and supremely flexible, these shorts feature UV 50+ protection to shield you from the sun while the silicone grips around the legs and draw cord around the waist ensure they stay in place. Practical for coastal water sports, the legs are braced with hiking pads that are reinforced with internal battens, which have been streamlined and shaped to the leg for a secure fit.

RF4020 - turning aid (protest flag)

This is being used as a red protest flag for competitive dinghy sailing, not a turning signal.
It’s a great engineering product from Ronstan, as it’s quite easy to attach and detach. The design allows for quick mounting and equally quick unfurling, which is important in tight racing situations.
Being a velcro-based attachment, it allows me to quickly change to one of the many options for displaying the protest flag. It’s simple technology means it’s easy to change and easy to see.
